How far in advance should I order my container?
72 hour notice is required on bookings.
How do I track my shipment?
You can track your order at www.gorlc.com. Click on tracing and enter your tracking number.
How do I assemble my crate?
Assembling a crate is simple— there are no tools required and assembly is easy and fast. Download instructions on crate assembly here.
Can I purchase packaging supplies? Where?
Packaging supplies can be viewed online as full kits here. Let your customer service representative know which kit you want when booking the order.
Does You Crate offer insurance?
You Crate does offer additional insurance as follows:
  • Up to $2500.00 – additional $75.00
  • $2501.00 - $5000.00 – additional $125.00
  • $5001.00 - $7500.00 (max) – additional $175.00
If you choose not to purchase the additional insurance the freight will be covered at the standard .10 cents per pound.
Does You Crate offer storage and what are the charges?
Storage charges are as follows:
  • $40.00 per month on the Cube
  • $60.00 per month on the Tower
The containers are stored in a non-traffic area at the terminal of destination.
Does You Crate require a deposit?
You Crate does not require a deposit. Full payment is collected upon pick up of the full container or upon delivery of the full container.
What payment options are offered?
  • Certified Check
  • Money Order
  • Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. We do not take Discover.)
If an R&L Carriers chargeable account is in place we can charge that company account, however your R&L discount will not apply on You Crate moves.
Will my price change?
The only time your price would change is if you added or removed containers from your order, or if You Crate had to re-consign (deliver to new destination or origin) the order.
How many days do we have to pack and unpack the container?
You Crate does allow 2-3 days for packing and unpacking of the containers.
What can not be shipped in a You Crate container?
Inside the containers you are unable to ship poisonous, flammable, corrosive or perishable items. Please refer to the full list of of these items.
Does the container lock?
The containers do not have locks on them. However, customers are free to supply their own locks— cable locks will fit through the top slots.
Does You Crate offer a driver wait program?
You Crate does offer a driver wait program on single shipment items. Our drivers are in no way permitted to pack the containers or crates. You Crate is a self packaging and crating company and the actual packing is the responsibility of the shipper. They will WAIT if the product is available to pack immediately when he arrives.
What is You Crate's cancellation policy?
If your order is cancelled within 48 hours of the empty crate delivery, you will be charged a $100 fee.
